Ryabinsky Pavel

Pavel Ryabinsky graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute and later worked in the creative studios of the Russian Academy of Arts under the guidance of the Tkachev brothers. Yet his most important teacher has always been his father, Evgeny. From him, the artist inherited a lyrical sensibility and a deep reverence for life — as well as that particular joy of painting from nature which no photograph can ever replace for a true artist.

Ryabinsky is difficult to place within a single genre. He moves effortlessly between still life, landscape, and interior scenes. What draws him most is life itself — to capture it as it is, and to create for the viewer a full sense of presence.

He is especially fond of painting flowers, though not those bought in shops, but the familiar ones growing in gardens and fields. The artist possesses a rare ability to preserve the soul of a flower — its lightness and the fleeting nature of its existence. He does not allow himself to embellish the essence of the plant.

Having worked en plein air since childhood, his landscapes carry a sense of depth and monumentality, shaped by attentive observation and lived experience.
