SERGEI ALDUSHKINMOROZKINO — MOSCOW — MOROZKINO

You can find yourself and your friends in our photo recap!

The exhibition “Morozkino — Moscow — Morozkino” introduces watercolor landscapes, portraits, and personal diaries of Sergei Aldushkin. Through watercolor, the exhibition reveals a sense of movement, the flow of time, the creative process, and the idea of an ongoing journey.

It is a journey from the artist’s native village of Morozkino to Moscow — a movement through cities and villages that have left their mark in memory, captured in diaries and works; the passage of time reflected in the constant transformation of nature; and the process from an initial idea in a notebook to a finished piece.

The exhibition of Sergei Aldushkin’s works is a significant event for the Morozkino House-Gallery — it was with his works that the gallery’s collection began. The name “Morozkino” itself emerged during one of the plein air sessions in the artist’s native village, whose landscapes can also be seen in the exhibition.

Throughout the exhibition, there will be a series of masterclasses led by Sergei, offering an opportunity to explore his technique and observe his process. The program will also include brunches, open conversations about art, live music, and more — the full schedule and announcements will be available on the Morozkino gallery’s social media. A catalogue featuring works, diary excerpts, and texts by Sergei Aldushkin will also be available at the exhibition.

We invite you to welcome the spring with us, to observe the subtleties of everyday life and to feel the passage of time from March 1 to March 31 at the Milliart space, located at 31 Tovarishchesky Lane, building 6, Moscow.
